Some Lift Kit Questions.

Recently got a B2, Have plans to lift and wheel it.

Fairly new to lifts, have a few questions. Found a skyjacker 4" lift, but I think it is a block kit not add a leaf, are blocks ok or should I spend the money and get the leafs ? Will leafs flex a lot more than having blocks ? And since it will be wheeled, what size tire can I fit on a 4" lift without rubbing ? Basic questions I know but I was just wondering.

springs are always better from what I know. You can fit 31" tires with zero rub. I have the same lift and with the blocks but I plan to put springs on it soon... the 6" springs with no blocks.

I think I'm leaning toward the 6" How big could I go with that ? 33's would be cool, but I'd do 32's if I had to.

If you can get around it dont stack them get the leaf spring and extended radius arms for the front. you can fit 33s with a 6 inch lift and 35s with a 6 inch lift and a 3 inch bl.

If you can get around it dont stack them get the leaf spring and extended radius arms for the front. you can fit 33s with a 6 inch lift and 35s with a 6 inch lift and a 3 inch bl.

dont listen to this guy, blocks are ok, if you just have 1 block, there perfectly safe if you only have like 4", if it wasnt safe, trucks wouldnt come from the factory like it, and they wouldnt be sold in lift kits

6" would fit 33's nicely, and if you have a CV joint driveshaft, your gonna need a longer one, but 6" is a maximum for the U-joint style driveshaft, and on my old B2, she had 32s stock and only rubbed at full turn, but she wasnt sagged very much

as long as you have good flex it shouldnt be too bad, cause if one wheel is up high then the wheel on the opposite end will keep her stable

Thanks for answering, I know one things for sure, that front end does not flex at all stock, the rear moves a bit, but thats the way it is with Fords... TTB flexes alright with a lift I'm assuming.

Maybe in a bit I'll throw up a couple pics.

and the front sway bar disconnected it will flex alot more

Might as well lose the sway bar since i don't on driving it on the road anyhow.

Get some Skyjacker coils and extended arms, then it'll flex. To help with stability, get some wheels with better backspacing.
