Some Lift Kit Questions.

Get some Skyjacker coils and extended arms, then it'll flex. To help with stability, get some wheels with better backspacing.

I was already eying the skyjacker, Kind of thought some like that myself, monster backspacing would help. Trails I'll be on won't be extremely narrow, but not very wide either.

It's probably worth it too spring for the SJ stuff. If you want to maximize your TTB, you'll probably end up with their coils, and their brackets are good too.

Haven't looked recently, but doesn't the "system" come with everything ?

Just went back to their website, from what I gathered this is the most complete kit correct ? leafs for the rear, has the arms and coils...

Looks like the one. You can mix and match like many, that's what I did and it may be cheaper. You may also be able to pick up the kit through other sources for cheaper as I think some on here have done. You also may want the bigger "Extreme" drop arm. I have their 4-6" arm and 6" coils though, and it's not bad. It has slightly more drop than the Procomp that i had before.

Oh, so other misc things, I'd need ? Brake lines ?

Just kind of trying to gather a list of what I'd need to pick up.

well you can also get brake line extensions if you dont want to get all new lines, but if the lines are old, id suggest getting all new ones

brake lines, shocks, i think thats everything order it up

Cool, any recommendations on good places to order from ? I'm used to performance parts for cars/street/strip not off road so if anyone knows of good places to buy from please let me know.

Thanks.

Order by phone ? I tried the big blue link that says interested in ordering ? click here blah blah but then nothing comes up.....

Tried the buy online, they just give a bunch of links to dealers, I'll look at them and see if any are cheaper than others.

Try 4wheelparts.

Skyjacker's coils are probably the flexiest of any that are made specifically for our trucks, but IMO they are still a bit stiff for some uses. I wound up instead using a set of their Jeep Cherokee coils on my BII.

I would certainly get the Skyjacker kit and see how it does for you (be sure to get the extra drop (#FA600) pitman arm with it too though). This way you'll already have a lifted foundation made of good quality components if you discover you want to try a swap to different coils afterward (and possibly shocks with extended mounts).

BTW, you can get the Skyjacker kits right here too
