Some Lift Kit Questions.

Skyjacker's coils are probably the flexiest of any that are made specifically for our trucks, but IMO they are still a bit stiff for some uses. I wound up instead using a set of their Jeep Cherokee coils on my BII.

I would certainly get the Skyjacker kit and see how it does for you (be sure to get the extra drop (#FA600) pitman arm with it too though). This way you'll already have a lifted foundation made of good quality components if you discover you want to try a swap to different coils afterward (and possibly shocks with extended mounts).

BTW, you can get the Skyjacker kits right here too

I assume the pitman arm with the kit would work fine though correct ?

Yeah it'll work, but with 6" of lift the bigger arm is better.

Ok, I'll have to check and see what that arm costs. So then I'd have an extra arm laying around.

It's around $150-$180 new, but you could probably sell the other arm.

Many do, but you'll get less bump steer with the bigger one. It's all up to you.

Any big reason not to use the one with the kit ?

I would ask that the arm be substituted for the other one, and just pay the difference in cost. I've successfully made substitutions for shocks and other items in the past when ordering kits so maybe you can do it with the arm too (it would only make sense, as it's stupid to have an $80 arm laying around that you can't use).
If they refuse, then like said, perhaps you can sell it on fleabay or in the classified section here

Thats a thought, would probably have to order right from skyjacker over the phone then, otherwise wrong part might get switched ect.
