Thankfully I've seen enough cops to never consider it. its a long 20 miles though .

It's only 18 miles. The Ponchartrain bridge is 21. Or if you really want long, drive south on I-55 past Ponchatoula, then continue on east on I-10, then south on I-310. 36 miles on bridge.

Well since we are going into the subject of mechanical stupidity let me chime in

How about Ford's 1100 cu. in. DOHC V8 they put in the Sherman tank, 4.6 has nothing on the 18.0

I was going to mention the DOHC Sherman motor but didn't have the time to dig up a picture of it. That one's the ultimate Ford hotrod monster motor.
