The first thing you need to do in any swap is SEARCH, SEARCH, SEARCH, READ, READ, READ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Read everything you can find on the subject. When you're done, then come back and ask questions here. You're the one has it to do. We're not going to do it for you. Yes, your v8 trucks are badass however I never need more than a V6

I dk. I aint roarin thru the Lous-i-ana swamps anymore and Arizona Valley=Flat. And speeding=photoradar ticket everytime . A V8 swap would **** me all the way around.

Surprised you didn't mention the Cheby 302, those are nice! Well we have given you enough crap but when you deside on the V-8, welcome back, we're here to help. Another thing, you don't to be fast but quick, big difference.
Dave - never had a speeding ticket in 45 years but almost killed myself and passengers a couple of times.
