Heres the VICTIM 88 ranger 2.9 5 speed 1354 tcase d44/d60 axles and 34x10.50 tires in the pic switching to 9.5-24 tractor tires in the near future.

Here's my '86 at my office the other day:

That photo makes me laugh because I couldn't find my keys and I was looking everywhere for them; if you look closely you can see them hanging from the lock in the driver's side door.

Here's the interior in all its vinyl and metal glory:

Honestly, I bought it with the 302 in it, but I have put a 302 in a friends ranger, and its not hard at all. We used advanced adapters bolted on to the original v6 mounts, moved the tranny crossmember back, and notched the heater box. Other than that, wiring is the hardest part, and finding manifolds/headers that clear your steering

heres my 85 before i stripped it to the frame and started the process of rebuilding everything and dropped a 302 in it

im still building this one so idk when ill be done with it to post more complete pics

Here's an update on what my old 86 looks like now....its not mine anymore but my best friend bought it and is changing some things on er

He's got a homeade tube bumper on it now...ill get pics later

still has the 31's

As soon as I get another first gen 4x4....I'm making it look exactly like my first one^ minus the rust holes lol

So so far he has:
-Homemade Tube Bumper
-KC's on the rollbar
-K&N filter
-Newer Cherry Bomb
-Fresh Coat of flat black
-Sony Xplod head unit plus speakers
-Synthetic oil

And were putting a bodylift on er sometime soon, basically were doing what I wanted to do when I owned er, but never had the money
