hmmm do you have front speakers in your dash? im thinking that if you didnt... you could tuck it right in that space....but would it have the proper airflow...

I was wonderin what i was gonna do with that piece of aluminum diamond-plate that was left over from doing the truk-bed.........

So..........3 hrs later after sawing/beveling/sanding/drilling..........tailgate is diamond-plated!!

NOT the correct pic, but you can see the diamondplate on the tailgate......

I still have to saw the "bar" off the bottom of the other script emblem b4 I attach it to the "other hood"....(gull wing hoods LOL)

i know someone whos gonna use your idea. hes got a 49? ford f1 and hes using a 88 ext cab 4wd frame. going to do pretty much the same but i think hes putting in an old flathead v8

I used a dremel tool with a cut-off disc........I'm gonna put a new metal-cutting blade in my table-top detailing bandsaw.....that should be a lot easier to handle the flat enblem (the dremel kept grabbing)

i was thinking that but wasnt sure. yeah grabbing sucks especially in shop class when your project is grabbed and launched across the shop at Mach 12 and out the window into traffic....
