Front End Re-build

damn thats no good! maybe i jinxed him when i said you needed to finish your roll cage :shok:. Glad to hear everyone was alright. Thats gotta be gut wrenching for him to see his truck like that after all said and done.

Good thing you were in sand too, the hard desert floor might have made things worse

its not racerangers truck. its his friends truck. raceranger has two lights and this truck has four. but his friend was jinxed by association.

is jake gonna start over and rebuild another truck.

Yeah i know, thats why i said "maybe i jinxed him (meaning racerangers buddy) when i said you (meaning raceranger) needed to finish your roll cage". kinda confusing though :icon_thumby:

yeah it was a bad situation for sure, I was scared to death running up to the truck knowing he had no cage. But after all was said and done we had allot to talk about around the campfire lol..the crazy thing to me is that his insurance is covering it even though he was on the dunes. So im sure he will have another ranger really soon to through all the salvageable parts onto. Ill post some happier pics of the trip in a few.

WOW! I dont mean to come off as an ass but what in the hell was your buddy thinking? 65 ft jump with no cage and unfinished extended beams!?! Holy crap that was dumb lol! Glad everyone was ok though!! I hope this is a wake up call to your friends and anyone that is reading this thread. Lesson learned I'm sure haha!

yeah, it was defenitally dumb..he was honestly taking it easy compared to usual because the beams werent done and we allways stress that he drives too crazy to not have a cage..but this jump was suuper deceving..it was soo sloping i thought he would maybe come 3" off the ground..wasn't the case at all..biggest jump i hade seen in person. Not tryin to make excuses for the ignorance that was involved, just trying to explain the situation. It changed our perception of the sport for the better and we will be allot safer from now on..luckily this lesson didn't cost a life.
