Lifting my 97

heavy ext cab = D60 or go home..

Yea wonder who it took to figure that one out :thefinger:

I got people calling ME to get rid of 60s, when you guys scrap together some cash let me know....

If he half assed this shit then you bash the shit out of your truck........

Metal macguyver (12:34:58 AM): i dont care
Metal macguyver (12:35:13 AM): my gear install wasnt half assed
Metal macguyver (12:35:18 AM): because i say so
Metal macguyver (12:35:24 AM): the facts are irrelevant

i win.

Some bad blood going on here?

Also how'd you break your shock shaft in half?

Now kids! I bash the shit out of my exploder and same for the b2 before that. The failure you 2 both suffer from is odd and frankly I dont understand why you do. I put my wheeling rigs through HELL without breaking a 35 or 8.8 shaft, d35 hub etc over the past year. I would like to know what the 2 of you do to break so much, so often....

lol, me and tim are just giving each other crap, no bad blood..

before the front locker i never had any shaft troubles, even on 297x's.. same with tim.

i really don't bash the truck! tim thinks i bash it when i'm alone, lol.. cuz those that wheel with me (tim included) know i just crawl, bashing it isn't necessary with the lockers...

the facts are irrelevant! lol

That is if you dont push your limits....

well see, this is where tim is right... in my backyard (60 acres).. i make obstacles out of everything, and 95% of my breaks have been in the backyard. when i am out there, i am alone.. and tend to push the limits.

so far i've hit *most* the hardcore trails in the area, excluding 1 major one, and another one i just learned of this winter..

and the hardest trails i've done, don't push the limits of my truck, tim can vouch they aren't exactly pansy trails (33s+locker is what the trail specs are for jeeps).. so no trail breakage.. just backyard breakage.

Not gonna get it fixed in time........

Note how the bearing has a crack in it at about the 5:00 position and how the carrier itself is egged out...........

i really dont feel bad for you at all..

i told you to go 60 before you ever touched the 35!

ok, well you also aren't cool for breaking shit either :thefinger:

so what are you looking for here timdawg?

I am ahead of the curve. I got my 60s today. I will let you guys know how the welded front and mini spooled rear holds up to 35 14.5 15s out back/ 35 12.5 15s up front.
