85' ranger, this is how it looked exactly as i bought it. i paid $800 for it and it already had a 4'' superlift kit on it. the tranny howled more then amaginable and was filled with milky sludge and the tires were in the condition of drag slicks. i got a rebuild for the fm145 and was off. the first week that i started driving it, i went wheeln- same day as when this pic was taken- and i lost low range completely its a fun truck just needed alot of servicing and maintenance to get it worthy since it sat in a barn 5 years before i got it. o yea and it has zero rust

Oh yea I forgot to mention that both rear cab mounts on my 85 are rotted off, only the front brakes work, the gas tank leaks, the windshield is busted, the passenger side wiper doesn't work and theres no power steering. It makes a good wood/field beater truck tho.

my 86 Ranger, 2.9L 5-speed, 4x4. I bought the truck for 400 bucks and had to rebuild the entire brake system, replace an o2 sensor, replace fan clutch, 10 dollar rattle can paint job, and some other junk lol
used to be black an blue 2-toned....but it was covered in surface rust, i fixed it all up myself and its my pride n joy

How it looked a week after i got it, only thing done was rattle can flat black paint...2 coats
