I think what a lot o people on here are trying to say is that that truck looses a little bit of the look of the ranger that we love so much.. I think the bed and wheels look good, and the bright paint scheme will definatly attract attention, however the problem area is the nose. Keep with the FORD look! That particular one resembles a few trucks, the ridgeline, raider(dodge dakota), and someone said avalanche. While these trucks may have their fanbase its not made of fordies, or TRS lovers. Bottom line redesign the front end and we can talk some more.

You sir are a genius. You hit the nail on the head. The front end just doesn't look like a ford. The ranger has always fallowed the styling of the F series, it worked in the past why wouldn't it work now?

I think it needs to look more like a truck. To me it looks like a Nissan Sentra with the backseat cut off and a bed attached. What happened to the days of trucks that were made of steel, with more consideration about the amount of WORK a truck could perform instead of the COMFORT they provided. I think the current Rangers have too much exterior plastic, this one is just over the top.

When I see concepts with the tires that have offroad sidewalls with racing slicks for tread, I wonder how far off road it could really go. Aren't there real tires that have cool treads that they can use so it didn't look so cheesy?

Yes, i can recognize the new Ford Ranger that is sold here in Europe...
I don't understand why they have to pic that one to make a world wide edition when they could pick the US edition instead.

I've compared styling to the Euro Ranger, Pathfinder, LandRover, Avalanche,
and it is definitely unique, and more rounded that any of the others.

Box is shorter, concept tires surely don't offer much in the way of traction.
6 lug wheels? Hubs looks small for 4x4. Engine specs ? Diesel options?

Using a graphics program I cropped the front end with grill.
It looked like a mad bull, or cross-eyed toad on steroids.

I'm not sure that's what Ford wants to hear,
but I would like to see it sitting in my driveway
to compare to what I've already got.
Might look good.

Give me the ranger that australia and england had a couple years ago, the one that kinda looked like a modern 89-92 ranger. I prefer the clean sophisticated look as to the retro, boxy, bubblely, retarded look the market seems to be going
