Don't get me wrong, I love my truck, but trying to figure out if I need to search 92 and older or 93 and newer year for the parts is becoming frustrating. Title says the truck is 93. Vin code says 96, in cabin fuse box is 92. Not a rebuild title so I'm super confused. Is this normal? Everything seems to be stock on the truck from what I have seen of other trucks the same vintage.

I'm not sure what manual I should actual get for this little truck. The one I have has some things correct and other things are just not in it I feel like I got the one model that used old stuff and the new stuff before it was officially used in the following model years.

Any advice would be welcome. Thank you in advance.

Does the dash plate VIN match the driver door sticker VIN?

Could you please post a picture of the driver door sticker (the Safety Compliance Label)?

Welcome to TRS.

The vin numbers on door and dash and title all match

"P" at VIN position ten says that the truck is a 1993 model year. A 1996 year model would have had a "T" in that slot.

I think that you'd be safe with using 1993 manuals.

1993 was the first year for that body style, but the instrumentation and dash carried over from the years prior, as did the drive lines. It wasn't until the 1995 year model, that saw some significant changes to the dash and wiring, and a substantial engine management change of OBD1 to OBD2.

Thank you! That's super helpful!
