Overhead Light Switch Not Working

I FIGURED IT OUT!!!! It was one of the SJB connectors! Wiggling it around with the doors closed and dimmer switch turned on fixed it!!! I just now have to somehow take about the connector and closed the female end a little bit so it’s always making contact!
Victory!

And, no. You do NOT want to take apart the dash unless you really, really have to. It's rarely ever advantageous. And it's a pretty big PITA.

i dont agree. as a unit the gen 2 style dash is made for rapid removal in comparison to a gen 1 dash... from assembly perspective.

the case of firewall crossover changes withstanding.
