Its not finished, but its mostly assembled. Used the engine hoist to put the hood on. Its rediculously heavy.

So far today I jumped on the tractor to pull that log out, turned out to be 20' long and 3-6" diameter. Then I switched to pulling all the junk out of the boat shed so I could mow in it, then I got on the roof to plug some extra screw holes then vacuumed the leaves out of the boat then backed it in then put all the junk around the boat

So after that my day went sideways... my brother had another thing break on the cover crop disc we worked on a couple months ago and his big tractor had giant holes in the bottom of the muffler which melted the dust separator for the intake... So I loaded up a generator in the back of my '90 Ranger and the little Titanium 125 welder and some various scrap metal and such, cut a patch panel out of the top of a 55 gallon drum for the muffler, not perfect but less bad, will get him by a few months anyway. The disc on the other hand the lift linkage nearly fell off. I got it solid enough in the field (only started one small fire... we moved the dry grass and put some dirt on top while I was working...) but it didn't lift high enough so he drug it back to the garage and we hacked that janky link off and found two pieces of 1/2" plate that conveniently had 1" holes already so I welded those together then figured out the angle to cut the other end off to help it lift higher. Now it looks sturdy.

Now it's after 11 and I need to get settled down a bit for some sleep...

I had to swim for help but we're out now. Tried again and got through.

I got all the camping equipment that got wet from the humidity in the West Virginia mountain air out and dried out. I also started stripping the camping gear out of and off of the truck in preparation for winter and putting the fiberglass cap back on the truck. All the roto packs are sitting open on the back porch so they will dry the residual water or fuel out of them. The weather forecast isn't looking promising on that happening soon. No matter, I need to build a shelf or two to store the gear in the shed anyway.

I know my wallet will appreciate it. All that gear hanging out in the air stream was killing my gas mileage. I thought a good chunk of it might have been the mud tires but there was no measurable difference after swapping the mud tires for the all terrains.

Well yesterday I finally got around to putting a pair of TRS stickers (on the bronco), also repaired a little chip in the windshield that showed up around 30k miles.

Had to wash it first.. as I also had some fun in the mud over the weekend..

Ended up buying a 2 year pass to the off-road park headed back for the third weekend in a row on Saturday.

Yeap, Armor Ditch.

I'm happy paying for their trails though. I live about 20 minutes north of Portland, ME.. and there's NO good wheeling in the area. Hell.. there's very little quality legal wheeling in the state PERIOD imo. Riding 4 wheelers? It's one of the best states to be in.. full size Wheeling? Total shite unfortunately.

Jericho Mt State Park in Berlin and Armor Ditch quickly became my 2 favorite destinations for nonstop all day wheeling.

After yet another dumb day at work I got home and walked to the shop to put the tags on the Explorer I noticed some gravel pushed out from under the shop foundation! Friggin rodent under the slab! not sure which version be it gopher, rat or mole or even field mouse or something dumb... whatever it is it needs to be unalived... pointed the cat to one of the holes but not a whole lot he could do when it isn't active so I did what anyone would do found a chunk of metal pipe and jumped on the riding mower and piped some exhaust to the underside of the slab for 45 minutes or so... hopefully it works!

While that was happening I cleaned the shop a little bit, slow process. Oh and I finally remembered where I put the mud flaps for my '90!
