Forgot to mention that I returned to the shop this past Monday and it found no additional leaks with the black light. The Schrader valves were the culprits. Knock on wood, the truck should be ready for summer.Had a warm day with a record high temperature last week, so I checked the A/C and discovered it didn't cool. Last summer I had had to run the A/C on max to get good cooling, so clearly there was a leak. Today a shop tested the system, replaced two Schrader valves that had oil around them, topped the refrigerant, and it seemed to be holding pressure. The replacement refrigerant has a UV dye, so I get tio bring it back to the shop to check the system with a black light next week.
