I can only find old forum posts in relation to this issue, which at the time you could still purchase a new liftgate lock.
Finding an 84 Ford Bronco II in a junkyard is about damn near impossible, it seems like I can only ever find Eddie Bauer editions, 86-88 models, chances are even if I did find one the liftgate lock/latch would be broken anyways.
I'm curious to know if anyone has come up with any unique alternatives so I'm not paying $288 for a new liftgate lock on Ebay, I'm almost considering actually biting the bullet on this one.
I could care less if any alternatives require any drilling/cutting, as long as I don't have to crawl through my interior anymore.
