Can anyone tell me what the correct spline diameter is for the front disc and rear drums? I have tried looking this up, but I find several different values. Like .615, .610 or .570. I need to replace the studs and thought I would ask before I start pounding them out.
Thank you.

I pulled one today and it was 2” long and the spline diameter was .510.

for wheel studs measure the flat area just before the serrations/splines.

Thanks. So you are saying that gives you the diameter of the core? That is the size I should be looking for? I measured the the spline area and I haven’t found any that size. I think the smallest I have seen is .565.

I would appreciate knowing what size wheel stud this truck is supposed to have. I measured a rear stud at 2” overall and of course, 1/2-20 thread. But, when I look up replacements, the spline size is all over the place, that are supposed to fit. I can’t buy replacements if I don’t know the correct spline diameter. The best information I could find was Knurl size for the rear - .618 and two different for the front .566 & .591.
Thank you for your valuable help.

try any local big retailer and take your sample??
all my stuff is newer.

a clarification, "hole size" is the flat area, knurl is slightly larger.
the knurls cut into the under size hole for a grip.

Thanks! It looks like from what I could find that the front and rear are different sizes. I will have to pull a front and measure the flat section before the knurled area.

i have never bought replacement lug studs and had issues with them not fitting. get one test lug and try it out if you cannot find anything that helps narrow it down
