My son's truck broke down over the weekend. As we were going to get parts yesterday, I heard a pop under the truck and the CEL came on. The truck was running fine so I decided I'd check it out back at home. We came out of the parts house and I immediately noticed wires hanging down on the ground under my truck. I crawled under the truck and had a look. The plastic cable clamp that holds the rear O2 sensor wiring off the driveshaft failed. The wiring harness wrapped up in the driveshaft and ripped everything out of the rear O2 sensor. Thankfully it didn't rip the wiring out of the truck side harness. I ordered a new rear O2 and it'll be here tomorrow.
