Moral of the story; if you gotta sell an RBV, contact him ^^^^^

Actually, I don’t think I ever bought a Ranger or Explorer off anyone on here yet and only 3 of 5 B2s came from former members on here…

Afterthought, but my ancestry is actually Staten Island. When my grandfather and grandmother on my mother side came over from Poland, he had a butcher shop and grocery store on Jersey Street. He owned a few other properties. This was approximately 1900 or 1910. A couple of the properties are now one of the footings for the Verrazano bridge.

I have the butcher block from his butcher shop in the shed of miracles, and I have his meat cleaver, ham slicer, fork and sharpener in my kitchen drawer. Boy I haven’t thought about any of that in years.

So we’ll give you a pass because it’s Staten Island….

Interesting, both of my Grandparents came to Staten Island from Italy in 1910, from Ellis Island, they set up camp here since. My Grandfather and his 3 sons eventually became Brick Layers after the sons came home from WW2. I'm thinking my Grandparents possibly could of known your family, as it was underpopulated back then, and my grandparents weren't far from Jersey St. They lived in Rosebank. Basically 2 miles away or so.

if you keep buying all the members trucks, we’re not gonna have any members left
Well, I would argue that me buying Farva’s B2 and his subsequent disappearance from the site was not really a bad thing.…

It does drive nice once you get past the weird Ignition switch and super trucker shifter made out of rebar.

Sounds like one of my contraptions

I took the F250 to the far side of Atlanta today and picked up the other two double 4-inch aluminum channel beams. I’m starting to get some really great weird ideas of what to do with them. But I can’t find a casket…

I started tearing apart my powerstroke for what I expected to be about 12 hrs of repair work. But inadvertently stripped the threads out of a hole in the Y casting where the exhaust up-pipes meet the tutbo inlet. Another $100 of parts on order. Will probably have to remove the turbo to replace that casting. All this to fix some exhaust leaks. But the MAIN job I'm trying to accomplish is injector and glow plugs replacement. Also found out that I need a new wheel in the turbo. That's going to have to wait.

Pulled the threads out of the casting (upper part) where this flange clamps on. This is one of the joints that has been leaking.

Impeller should not look like that. This engine has eaten dirt.

Driver side valve cover exposed. After some cleaning, I'll be ready to pull that off and do the injector and glow plug replacement.

Found a penny by the passenger side valve cover. Heads up. But I don't feel like I had very good luck today.

How many miles on that beast?

Oof, that turbo is dusted! Isn't there a "wicked wheel" for those? would probably wake it up a touch. I broke an ear off that casting when I did the turbo, I welded it back on and just ran it... Dealing with that area was not my favorite but at least I didn't have cowl over the turbo as bad as those...

Yesterday I mostly mowed and moved stuff, annoyingly I found a gopher trap with the mower, was one of my newer ones too... fell off of one of the project mowers/flat spots...

I already have my eye on the Wicked Wheel. It has to wait a few paychecks.

Don't blame ya, similar boat on mine but even dumber... mine isn't intercooled so I need to add one of those (I have the intake spider and have had it for like 5 years, as with an intercooler), my injectors aren't as bad as yours were but on the OBS you have to do a HPOP too and while doing injectors might as well get a tuner like you did... I think it's right around $3k for what I need...

I paid my taxes today and then had to fill up both tanks on the 7.3 on the way home.

At least the money I spend on the diesel gets me somewhere.

I’m going to take an aspirin for my head and an aspirin for my heart and lay down…

I did a break job on my Corolla. New Rotors and pads, cleaned up the slide pins and gave them a hefty amount of lube. I even cracked the bleeders :thefinger: and the world kept spinning.
New struts & bearings will be the next purchase for that car. Just over 200K miles and still purring like a kitten.

Replaced the headlight bulb in Big Red today, one of the LED things with the blower. The one I had in lasted two years, but I don’t think I put 2000 miles on the truck…

I do like the bright white look instead of the old fashioned incandescent yellow white.

woo hoo
