I've enjoyed seeing all the other Rangers on here for quite a bit. So I thought I'd do right & introduce myself and my ranger. I'm Jon from the Chicago (southwest side) & I own a 1994 Ranger xlt 4.0 in black. I just celebrated 200k miles & she still runs great. I should add that most of her life was in Kentucky, so no exposure to salt on the roads in winter.
I look forward to meeting fellow Ranger enthusiasts. If you're in the Chicagoland area, say hello. Thanks!

I've owned a few 94 Rangers. They treated me fairly well. Salt is hard on them as you're aware.

I lived in Plano and moved to Ottawa a couple years ago. Hopefully Michigan is in the near future.

I just know the further from Chicago... the better.

Welcome to TRS...

Welcome to the forum.

Uncle Gump, I was in the St. Joseph, MI area on vacation last week. Beautiful area up there.

Couple hours north of St. Joe is even better. I love Michigan's west side. Sunsets are priceless...

We had only planned on staying for one full day. Ended up staying almost a week. Going to go back sometime and see more of the area.

Thanks for all the nice words.
Ironic that Michigan was brought up, my second home state in a way. I spent my summers growing up in the "Pinky Finger" region. Just northwest of Traverse City. When I first bought this Ranger, I took it up there and cruised the famous M-22 route up there. I know the Leelanau County as well as Chicago. I suggest everyone check it out. It's roughly 5-6 hrs from Chicago.
