What did YOU do today?

Toyota makes a tough car, a friends wife has a '04 Camry, the thing jumped a deer on the highway and was perfectly fine, that was several years ago now... the wife has a '03 Camry that I got a couple years ago and I was hoping it was going to be good to go but it uses about a quart of oil per tank of fuel but gets like 30mpg... and it has like 260k miles on it so I can't blame it... hopefully this winter I'll do an in chassis re ring and bearing job... the low oil light comes on at about 2 quarts low and it gets used often so the bearings likely aren't great...

Going thru some small portable compressors that stopped working several years ago. One the piston rings have overheatd, one the motor turns but very slow and erratic, and last one had a broken wire to the start cap. Repaired wire and working now. Feel good now...

i went in the attic, since we have nice cool tropical storm weather and actually got a little rain yesterday and spread more insulation. it was nice since it wasn't 130+ degrees up there. ran out before done though so i have to buy about 6 more bundles today and hope its still cool when i get home afterwards so i can try to get it all done.

or maybe we will actually get a tropical depression/hurricane that stays more than an afternoon so i can do it than?

I installed some radiant barrier in a lady's attic one time. I always wondered how much it made a difference.

It’s a good way to overheat your roof decking and shingles. Plus, when it oxidizes it no longer bounces heat back as well. Think of a shiny mirror vs. a dusty one.

A lot of people down south do it though. 👐

Been scoping out potential "new" rangers on marketplace lately..

Anyone have a pre 98 rcsb 2.3 2wd manual that's ready for action? Shit... even a roller would do as long as all the wiring and stuff is intact and the price is right.

I drove my Mustang for the second time this year, we drove about 3 hours round trip to get ice cream. Maybe I'll go through more than 2 tanks of gas before it goes up for the winter. Unlike the last 2 years.

Get that seat time in... it was like... 45 degrees when I got in the Bronco on the way to work this morning. It's coming.

started repairing the rc crawler. it had a short-term position as a submarine then sat for 2 years. cleaning axles, regrease, new bushings, and a new motor esc combo cuz i got one. redcat gen8 axe. the little axle parts are freaking awesome! this model even has portals!

Ended up staying at a camp site a couple minutes away from the customer site tonight instead of the hotel that’s 40 miles away “because it has a stove in the room and none of the other hotels near the job had that”.

last time that guy is going to pick the hotel…..
