. Think i may wait anyways and do new ball joints, u-joints and bearings... couldnt hurt to have it all set up and working well for when I get it lifted and go wheeling. Id feel stupid if I did all that work and had a ball joint or something go out on the trail.
You should get the steering knuckles off a '94-'97 Ranger. They have the bolt on 2 piston brake calipers instead of the slide 1 piston caliper.
If you decide you don't want 4.56 gears, I will buy the Dana 35 gears from ya!
I like the idea of better braking power, especially since I am putting on bigger tires, but thats a mod that I will do down the road. I got brand new pads with this axle that I want to wear out first.
Got bored last night so I played with the sawzall. 60/40 bench style to buckets. What do you think?

should have the loot to "finish" soon. In the mean time needing something to work on I removed my stabilizer bar, a little more body roll but not horrible. Also removed my spare tire carrier and have been brainstorming ways to mount one in the bed. Then I cleaned the carb/filter on the dirtbike (xr50 with a 88cc big bore kit and other extras, ever gone 50mph on a rollerskate?) and went and tore the sh*t out of my neighborhood. Kinda scary on asphalt with knobby tires, rear end wants to slide out.

Im still running the stock swingarm + i-shock myself for now.
