Snoranger’s 2023 Ranger Lariat Tremor

Lift kit

37's

Bumpers

Winch

Lights

Communications

And an Easy Button...

I’m definitely thinking bumpers, winch, lights, Midland GMRS… at least until the warranty is up. After that I can start doing suspension work.

You will hate that Tremor shocks and struts. You should probably upgrade those and give them old ones to a needing person on here 😉 haha. Oh and upgrade those ugly switches and just give those to me oh I mean someone needy haha.

For the price of admission... I'd probably run factory bumpers for awhile.

That softopper will be pretty cool. I'm happy you will have it before this year's events too.

I have a spare set of first Gen Raptor shocks if you’re interested.

I’m not worried about the money, I’m here to have fun. I’m not 100% sold on the Softopper yet, I may go with a bed rack/light bar instead. I’m still looking at options.

It’s a relief to know I’m in the home stretch on this truck. It’s been a long wait.

Will the old Raptor shocks bolt right into the new Rangers? I'm gonna be needing an upgrade soon.

Theres better tuning options, that can come with a warranty...

It’s great that they do that, but I’m not messing with an aftermarket warranty. It’s OEM or nothing. In 3 years, when the warranty ends, I’ll reevaluate the situation. (= I’ll want more power.)

Fair enough, I will say that 5star does indeed hold up their end of the deal should things go awry.

We have a guy in my Hidden Gems group running the soft topper. He is working with a company now to make a rack system that works with it so he can run his RTT. I can get the info if you'd like. Talked to him last night.

I may be interested in that, depending on what direction I decide to go with this truck. Keep me updated.

I will get with him today and see where it's at. I know a couple weeks ago he had to take it in for measurements. He has a couple sponsors on his truck.

I was talking to my salesman earlier this week and he said they may be able to turn on my GPS system remotely and track the truck every step of the way. I’ll know more about this on Monday or Tuesday. That sounds much better than the old system where you had to get the rail car number off the DORA and call in to track that.

I think I’ve decided what bumpers I’m going to get for it, I’m planning on the Softopper, and maybe a roof rack/ light bar mount combo. I have a set of rock lights from another project that need a home, might as well throw them on. And I’m waiting for Midland Radio to have the MXT500 on sale.

People were trying the gps thing when the Bronco came out, they had to be linked to your Ford pass account which at the time you couldn't do until you synced your phone with the vehicle.

Fords tracking is like a cheap knockoff of usps's tracking system.

Most makes don't have anything so there is that too.
