I dont know why everyone thinks those distributors are junk. I know plenty of people running high horse cars using Factory distributors over msd or Mallory even turbocharged.Mechanically about as close to a bolt in swap as you can get, you dump the garbage TFI distributor and gain a tuneable somewhat modern EEC, you get a very compact accessory drive setup and they still have decent flowing heads.
My 92 notch never whines. I know the squealing pig... But isnt that predominantly an issue in F/E series, Vic and ranger. I thought 91-93 mustangs came from factory with a differently designed pump same mounting and over all appearance.Maybe they wanted to hear the turbo over the power steering pump?
My 90 ranger had a lil whine with the 2.3 and my 92 mustang doesnt. The 92 pumps whine like a mofo
You just need 35 inch swampers.
Trust me on this. I had a 92 cobra crate engine until it broke in half.
Use any pump you want.@adsm08 how did you ever figure out a 97 4.0 power steering pump worked with a recirculation box? How do I determine what power steering pump I will need with a 92 fox rack exploder wise?
