Todays weather

well crap…. due to the weather forecast my work has already closed for tomorrow- but fri - one of my usual days off (Im on a 4/10 schedule) I have to go in- 8-4 instead of the usual 6-4. But whos to say roads will be driveable by then? Wet mess here right now, last snow gone, top inch of ground thawed & muddy. All the low spots are ponding. Guess we will see if this storm is all its hyped up to be.

I’m not sure the ground really froze around here except where the snow was cleared. Hopefully we don’t get pounded but mom’s suv has new snow tires now and my F-150 is functional

We have a nice mix of a little of everything here. The rain tomorrow will help with that until it freezes sometime Thursday night, Friday morning. The gravel drive is a bit of a muddy mess at the moment. I really need to get that thing dug out and more gravel dumped on it. It's about 5-6 inches higher than the surrounding ground from years of just dumping more gravel on it.

snowing & blowing. hard to tell how much, id guess 3-4 with up to 11 expected. plowed drive once already 2 hours ago & can barely tell. Icy drive underneath. I may very well consider some chains for next winter. Thats going to be expensive. Have to go pick up my other half from her work at 4. glad I was able to drive her today. Its in the low 20’s right now.

We ended up with about eight inches here yesterday.

The city does our streets and apparently have some "green" drivers this year. Young kid plow driver yesterday filled in the end of my driveway three damn times. I cleaned it out each time. I go to leave for my doctor appointment this morning... and the jackass newbie had pushed all the snow from the cross street straight across the road and left it at the end of my driveway.

still coming down here. Im giving up for the day, with the wind its just pointless. the windmill out in the front yard changes direction so much its hard to tell just which way its blowing. Roads are bad, we got home about a hour ago. tomorrow around noon its supposed to stop snowing, hopefully the wind will be done too. The Escape was well worth todays drive, im suprized its so covered with snow on the back, 40 was about all I could do on the way home.
