2.9 with jba headers .what pipe size ??

i allready have the jba's installed
i'm looking into dual exhaust and was hoping someone would have an idea of what pipe size would work best

My 4.0 has 2" since that's what is standard on the V6 (for tailpipe anyways). I have a friend with a 2 1/4" setup. When they're idling parked next to each other, they sound about the same. The only difference is mine has 12" and his has 18" glass packs. I think the smaller the pipe, the more cackly it's going to be. It's your choice.

Isn't the collector 2.5" out? I'd be tempted to go with 2.25".

a smaller pipe size will keep velocity up and keep some torque. If you go too big youll kill the velocity and loose some response and torque
 
i'm leaning towards the 2.25 and staying with the single exhaust
 
2 1/2" max on a single, 2" max for duals.
