TRS 2021 Fall Off-Road Round-Up

I was waiting until I had a better grip on my schedule for trail ride weekend. I had a conflict with a wedding of one of my past store managers daughter getting married on the 10th. My wife RSVP'd saying we would attend... and being that we haven't done anything in like a year together... I figured I should go and keep peace at home. Besides... I love my wife and she really doesn't ask me to do to many things like this. But as of today Illinois has implemented a statewide mask mandate and is back to limiting gathering sizes I think we may be cut from the event. Official word of that hasn't come yet but I feel like if it doesn't come we still my opt out of it anyway. The last thing I want to do is go hang out with 150 folks I don't know in an enclosed space.

But anyway... my plan was to just drive over Saturday and just hang out in the campground and enjoy the campfire with everyone. I probably won't even make it out to the trails Saturday... but I'm totally interested in the whole pizza party Saturday evening. I have access to a bunch of pizza supplies/fixings and was already trying to figure out how to make it happen. I think @Mrs. Eighty Five should PM me and maybe her and I can coordinate how to make this happen if the group is interested in the idea. More to follow once her and I speak.
Okay, been having to give this some thought between work and a slight meltdown over a missing purse. As of right now I’m working on the cheese blend (Justin loves shredding the cheese for me 😆). I was thinking I could make the pizza dough out there and if others would want to bring their favorite toppings? I’m still undecided on what pizzas to make. Justin’s likes pizza ranch Tuscan Roma (roma tomatoes, spinach and Alfredo sauce and I do make a pretty good Alfredo sauce) And Hawaiian. I’ve come to like chicken bacon ranch with a barbecue sauce base and ranch drizzled over the top. Can never go wrong with basics though: cheese, pepperoni or hamburger. I know my dad and brother are meat lovers; my dad would do Hawaiian or maybe even taco. My thought process was grilled pizzas or Dutch oven pizzas. Justin even has a stove that fits over his Coleman stove. I have a couple pizza stones...but I should probably be cautious about what actually I bring out. If you want to text Justin we lock down some specifics one what all to bring. I suspect no matter what we all go for no food would be wasted.

I don’t see Justins timeline. We are heading out Wednesday night and should get there sometime Thursday afternoon. We’ll see what we can find for a decent camping spot. We plan to stay through Sunday, most likely head out Sunday afternoon/evening.

Hawaiian is about as exotic as I get with pizzas. Cheeses, mushrooms, olives are good toppings. I'll bring my Coleman oven, too. I've never used it.

Awesome. It will be nice having y'all there with me Thursday night.

Man, maybe I need to leave a day earlier and get there Thursday.

I like a BBQ chicken pizza.

Deluxe.

Pepperoni and banana peppers.

It’s official... I won’t be bringing my 2016 Yamaha Wolverine 708. I’ll be bringing my new 2021 Yamaha RMAX 1000.

So now the question is... do I bring the quart of oil to pour under @fastpakr s Ranger or @snoranger s new Yamaha? or bring two and do both?

If it’s leaking oil, it still has oil in it. You shouldn’t worry until it stops leaking.

I thought you were going to dump antifreeze under the front of fastpakr's Ranger?

Water balloon of antifreeze on the exhaust.

Nothing wakes a feller up like the aroma of hot antifreeze in the morning.

Zip tie to the driveshaft is one of my favorites :). Don't trim the end so it smacks around as they drive.
