What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

Installed the steering box and new low pressure line. I still need to test drive it but it's to humid at the moment.

BII/scab/second gen+ ahead of axle front sway bar is installed.

Replaced one of the gas struts on my toolbox. They only had 80lb 10.5” struts so i only did 1. Weight is about perfect.

Was going to do an oil change on the '97 since I didn't remember when I did it last... I checked the level and it was still clean and in the middle so apparently it was somewhat recent? Said screw it and started screwing around with other stuff... at least now I have oil and a filter for a month from now :)

I used it to transport some stuff from the garage to the shop, I gotta cut out a plate to put the chain pots in my floor, it has to be one plate not two like I was hoping would work... whatever, it's just a 10"x10" piece of 1/4" plate that I have to put a 2" hole in the middle of...

Took mine to menards to get a 24" by 8' shelf board

Is Menards like Leonard's? That crazy crack head at the end of the block who sells stuff cheap he stole from the Walmart construction site? That Walmart ain't never getting finished with Leonard around... but I know like 12 dudes built new sheds with stuff from Leonard. He's good people. Don't mess around and try to buy any electronics from Leonard though, he will sell you a busted Phony Sony DvD player in a heartbeat.

It is like Lowes or Home Depot. Pretty common in the Midwest, based out of Wisconsin.

Even Mystery Science Theater 3000 immortalized it in their spoof of " The Giant Spider Invasion" which was filmed in Wisconsin.

"Woohoo The Packers won the Superbowl!"
And "there's a Giant Spider Invasion of savings at Menards!"

Took the princess for a Ranger ride. She had to bring her bunny.

went appliance shopping, dryer died this morning and I guess since the set was new in 2006 so its quite possible its time. Since the washer is the same age I figured I may as well bite the bullet & replace both. Hooked up the flatbed & went to town, can fit both in a longbed ranger but the load floor distance is better with the trailer. Ended up buying a set from lowes, had the dryer in stock but washer wont be in until thurs. Was incredibly hot today swapping out dryers and making a whirlpool pedastal fit a samsung dryer. (Bren’s whirlpool employee discount doent mean much when whirlpool stuff is so much higher than other brands) Have the old dryer in the back of the ranger now, from what I can tell the motor is bad.

Ya know. A pulley, a long flat belt and an antique tractor could have replaced that bad motor and you wouldn't have needed to buy a new machine.

Called the insurance company to open up a claim after I discovered my tailgate was stolen.

This reminds me of the story of "the puppy who lost its way".

This was a few days ago, for some reason I couldn’t add my photo. Anyways…. Driveshaft swap goodbye carrier bearing, hello 99’ aluminum shaft. Smooth as silk and just yanked the bracket.
