Truckspotters

Saw this Ranger at the local Home Depot and appreciated how well the 70's Mag wheels matched the truck.

At a house were in the process of trying to purchase, would be neat if they left these behind. Im guessing 1965? the red is a 6cyl manual, the black one is a V8 automatic. I didnt pop the hood. Hopefully this place goes through. Nice garage, 3 acres. Today was the $400 home inspection. Not perfect but better then where Im at now.

The black one looks like one my Dad had - a 62 with a 292, overhead oilers and three-on-the-tree ike the one in the photo. I rebuilt the motor in auto shop in high school sometime in the late 70's. Nothing fancy. I swapped out the stock muffler for a hush thrush. Sounded good and even Pop liked it over stock, but he's an olg gearhead anyway. I'd try to work them into the deal somehow.

Maybe he swapped the v8 into the ranger, you know, to give the F100 a little more umph
