Why would I pay for rent, I'm only 17 and I live with my mom.

Paying rent to your mom can actually be a good idea sometimes.. but only if they're the nice kind that will hold on the money for you secretly and then give it to you. Haha

Or if your young, like I am (21), and still living at home (until I finish my apprenticeship), you can always set up RRSP and Mutual Funds, and pay into that whatever you can. I'm doing that and putting in X amount per month, and in the last 2 and a half year I have managed to save up about $30 000. If I didn't cheat and take money out of those accounts, I probably would have another $10-15000 in there. Plus with the interest and such it does a lot more for you then just "paying rent" to your parents, only to get it back when you move out.

That's why. If you have money to blow on modding a Ranger you could contribute to the house. Or of course you could be a typical 17 yo girl and just leach of the parent, as it appears you are. What else are you doing with your life?

I am going to guess that someone makes one tiny comment against her and she goes throwing names like dumbfuck around. That total lack of self-control cost her any respect I may have had for her. Of course that's just me.

Agreed. Shes only 17. Theres nothing wrong with getting help from your parents at that age. As long as they are going to school. 17 year olds dont have much options when it comes to jobs.(at least nowadays) Its hard enough paying for stuff when you have a decent job as it is. I was fortunate when I was 18. I was making a decent wage to put myself through school and buy a vehicle. But my parents let me live with them so I could achieve those things without worrying about rent. Nothing wrong with that.

True, but you WERE talking about her. I do not think that anyone should talk about someone without including them in the conversation. Thats my two cents. I believe many other people feel the same. Do not reply to this saying "That's not how I feel so (insert random obscenities here)" because honestly, I do not care how you feel. I was stating how I feel.

Also, I feel that any comments she may have mad that you didnt "approve" of and cost her your respect were well deserved. What the other member said, in my opinion, was a personal verbal assault on her and her family. Think about how you would feel in her situation if someone said something like that about you?

They are awesome, not over powering at all. Unlike my friends single 12 with a 800watt amp.
