Katie, those are uni-body cars. I'm not sure if that makes a difference as it's been at least 4 years since I've seen the underside of one, but there really isn't much 'frame' to them in that area. Most people install frame-ties that connect the front K-member to the rear subframe in high hp cars.

Honestly I'd steer clear, especially seeing that you are trying to trade.... Find a Subaru WRX, that'd be a worthwhile trade!

Ah, but still... getting it check out! Make sure it was never broken or bent

Ha... no I can't afford a WRX. Although my step mom almost gave me hers, I wish she did.
 
It's a 6speed.
Already has new spark plugs and wires.

I am taking it to the body shop to make sure the frame is straight.

6 speed huh? Never noticed haha. Guess I never got to go that fast in one.

One of the salesmen at my previous shop tried to sell me his Firebird. I took one look underneath so see a cracked subframe and laughed at him.

At least the tune up is done. Very lucky there.

Honestly, I would really stay away from it and get something more practical for yourself.

I cut the deal with the Firebird because I can't afford it or another project.
Just great, now I am suck with this darn Mazda again.

The 3.0 is an amazing motor really. Not sure why you have such problems with it. But if you need help, just ask...ok?
Plus, once you drive a truck, there's no going back to cars :)

Well with the hours I work and the fact that I have to fork out 200 for insurance a mouth (which price is rising for whatever reason) the only things that will be happening to the car are maintenance.
 
So your selling this vehicle b/c its not practical?
You seem to think a firebird is more practical?
I see that you posted pics of the firebird you are looking at that car looks like junk. What are the actual problems with your truck? If there are not any major problems with it why get rid of it? But you need to make your own chioces and find out for yourself. By the way hindsight is 20/20.
 
A mustang GT can be more practical depending on your requirements.

My 95 4x4 ranger gets 16/18
my 06 mustang GT, fat/sticky tired, tuned (300rwhp so 330-350 flywheel depending on what drivetrain loss % you want to use) with 4.10's, still gets 20/24 and that is with on-ramp blasts!

Insurance is actually not ridiculous even for a 24yr old male

I am actually running both the truck and the mustang, in my case having just the stang would NOT be practical because I'm in NewEngland and the stang could not cut it in the snow (no, not even with snow tires and weight).

If the car is a unibody, and it had as much damage as that, it's fucked. I'm sorry to say, but that would have been even dumber then you posting half nude pictures of yourself on the internet for people to make fun of you sucking in your gut if you would have traded your truck for that pile of shit.

You're trying to go from a truck to a fast car that will yield you higher insurance, and probably from the way you were talking on a couple pages (I just skimmed through because I hate looking at your posts asking for opinions, yet when somebody gives you good advice you just decide to pull out the bitch card) will be getting you terrible gas mileage with your foot to the floor because it is "fast", and you'll probably end up getting in an accident because of your lead foot. Unfortunately, though, you'll probably make it through just fine, and in about a year and a half be shacking it up with some neighbor of yours and having a mighty fine lot of children, who will grow up to be a bunch of societies ingrates, but with a "good parental background" because you'll end up pawning them off to your mom, like most immature bitches who have children too early in life (which in most cases, too early is even if they are in their 90's).

Hopefully you'll get yourself a nice piece of crap so you can pose next to it for Boggin. At least HE'LL enjoy it.
