My buddy has 3, none of them work. Statistically speaking I don't think the amount of jeeps you own increases your chances of having a functional vehicle...

I worked on the headlight buckets for the quad headlights, little to show, but I think I figured it out.

On the tail, I had to shave the depth of the Lincoln reflector panel I’m rigging. I wasn’t sure they’d survive going through a planer, so I’m using my table (6x48?) belt sander. Slow go, but they’re coming out good. Of course then I dropped one and chipped a corner, but fortunately had enough from what I cut off to patch it. It will barely be seen when I shave them to the right thickness. Those lenses are getting as rare as hen’s teeth, and pricey. I try to grab spares for the junk pile when I can.

That’s great grand daddy’s vice, btw.

& I finally made some pony saw horses (24” high) to start working on the extra beds for the trailers. I dropped that too, but a little more forgiving. Zero rust on both the 6ft extras. If that little bit of rust I fixed on The Missing Linc starts to come though, I’ll just swap the bed. They’ll be painted identical.

And I’ve been working on the cab over lights and code 3 light bar. Again, nothing to show, but think I figured that out, too.

Towed it to and from the exhaust shop, it sounds so gooooood now,, stopped by parents on way home to show it to dad. Upon getting it home I noticed the radiator is leaking. Also when I started it at home to let gf hear it, the wipers started going full speed and windshield squirter continously runs. Any thoughts?

Hey, on a serious note, on my 88 Town Car (also Ford) the same thing happened after I worked under the dash. Two wiper motors later and a dozen busted knuckles, I figured out the ground wire to the wiper motor was cut out somewhere. I never found the break, I just jumped in a new ground, and then back to profilin’ on Saturday nights!

I picked up a traditional Garmin GPS for the trucks. I have a RFI filter made of toroids and wire wrapped around them for the 2011 to eliminate the fuel pump noise in my CB and Quad Band radio. I'm going to have to drop the fuel tank in order to install it as close as possible to the pump. Oh, and spring preventative maintenance is coming. Oil changes, brake inspections, evaluating what the road salt did to the underside of the trucks, and tire rotations.

Ripped the back bumper back off for upgrades. Also did some figuring how to mount the Garmin overlander GPS.
