Making it jealous? A friend is buying another Jeep and I agreed to help him get it home. So I'll be driving this 2019 or 2020 Rubicon for a little while this morning. He's hopelessly hooked on Jeeps.

Never drove one but I like the feel of the dash in them. Reminds me of my '85 how they are tucked up against the firewall... very rare to find a vehicle like that today.

I had one for a rental for a couple weeks, it was alright. I didn't like the placement of the side airbags, and the leg room was almost nonexistent. Other then that I liked it.

It was a nice drive. 4 door model on 37's. Firm ride, tight steering. Way different from a 28 yr old Ranger. I had good leg room. It felt very comfortable.

I was well on my way to talking myself into a gladiator until I saw I could get a Power Wagon for the same $$... and a regular 3/4 ton for less

That dashboard is ugly as hell... I would hate to have to look at that everyday.

You are not a good friend. A real friend would not allow him to continue spiraling down such a dark path, let alone openly participate in his addiction. Go stand in the corner and think about what you've done.

The one i looked at didnt have the red, i didnt think it looked too bad.

That is an ugly dash IMO.

That dash looks more complex than a jet plane, looks like the big BMW dashes back in the 90s with a hundred buttons and controls. So here’s the question/observation: you want the jeep to be tough and climb the mountains, charge through nature, but you also want to be James Bond with the Lotus Elise that also goes underwater or flies. Like Thunderball, he arrives underwater in a wetsuit, and strips it off and he’s in a tux with a summer evening jacket. Unbelievable, living a fantasy, confused & nothing really works for what you want. My Lincoln, luxury car. My trucks, workhorses. Reality, focus.

You're a weird dude.

Gosh, you’re right! I’m complaining about the dichotomy of this jeep and it’s dash at the same time I’m putting a Lincoln front end in my 87 4WD Rick-storation! I complain about it and now I are one!!! 🤪

It is a busy dash. The red seems to be color matched to the exterior. Controls? Wow. Since they want the doors easily removable, window controls are on the center console. I think mirror controls were on the side of the dash. Don't really remember even though I adjusted them. I never did find volume for the stereo. I kept looking for it on the screen, thinking the two knows on the dash were temperature controls for driver side or passenger side. But, he later showed me that the left one (blocked from my view by the steering wheel) was volume. Plus there are hidden buttons on the back side of the steering wheel for volume, channel, answering phone, etc. Yeah. It's "gadgets to the max". The switch for ride control selection is on the A-pillar. And it has that stupid auto start/stop for the engine. But I think he told me that is defeated when he disconnects the antisway bars and maybe by pushing a button.

Wow.
