Looks like the wives are getting Bronco Sports. I'm glad I don't have one. LOL.

Many women like cute and good gas mileage. Many men generally don't care about cute and often don't care about mpg so much (as long as they have realistic expectations what they are getting). Do they want the vehicle they are getting to get the mpg they are supposed to? Yep but they should also realize they are buying a brick and shouldn't expect to be getting 40 mpg out of the thing either.

We just got home from the dealer... we ordered my wife a Cactus Gray Bronco Sport Badlands w/ the Badlands package.

That is crazy, we were ordering our Cactus Gray Broncos at the same exact time. Wonder who is going to get theirs first...

Yup, 'tis ordered. Dealer thinks we might get it before the roundup...

Kind of a middle of the road one, Black Diamond with the Mid package so she can have remote start.

Oddly enough I was the voice of reason. She was wanting to go Sasquatch... which for a dd in Iowa is kind of extreme. 4.70's, lift kit and 35's won't do a thing to help mileage and I already hate buying replacement tires enough as it is.

Stupid random observation, the Bronco's wheelbase will only be 2" longer than my '85's.

My wife only wanted a Sport, so it’s estimated at 6-8 weeks away.

And she would only buy it with a manual, but she wants a bunch of the "creature comforts" found in the new ones - which is why I was so frustrated with the online tool. Any time we added creature comforts, it nixed the manual.

That looks like a Sport to me. Look at the wheels and no "horns" on the fenders for limb risers.
