More Bronco hear say.

A 4-Runner?!?!

WTF.

I feel like your wife comes from a Ford truck family.

Pretty much

"but it isn't a Ford"

I was thinking used late model truck based SUV that has ground clearance for snow... not much for options anymore.

I would still rather have a steel roof for a dd. ;brownbag;

Talking to the dealer tomorrow about ordering it. :black_eye:

Hmmm... today is the day!

I'm kinda jealous... I just believe there is more to come on this platform. But I'm totally excited for you.

I saw one yesterday out on the road when I was driving, havent been by the local ford dealer in a while to see whats out front, They havent been keeping many new rangers on hand though. Overall every dealership is low on stock, 10 years ago every place they could put a car they did, now the lots are very sparse, I suspect demand is low compared to then and I get it but it just seems odd to see so much space between each vehicle when at one time it was door-to-door with all the space being used. Used lots are the same way, a lot on the north end of town used to have a good 50-75 inventory, now its about 15. More customer parking then vehicles available for purchase.

Regular Broncos haven't entered full production.

New lots are dry looking because production has been all over the place, there for awhile they couldn't get anything. They pushed the Bronco launch back at least once because they wouldn't be able to get parts to build them (hardtops) due to Covid. I heard they did pump out a big run of Rangers because Broncos will be hogging the line once they get into gear.

Kind of exciting kind of daunting. I hate buying vehicles... which is a large reason why I haven't done it since 2005. :dntknw:

Most of what I dislike is dealing with the dealers... it never sits well with me. At least you have some connections in that area. Lots of comments going around about shady dealers with this new product and the current demand for it.

Good luck and tell momma I said hello...

Dealer seems pretty good so far. I have known the guy I am dealing with since I was like 8, he used to work for my dad.

I really like not having payments and for some reason the dealer usually almost pays us to keep the old vehicle so then I have to try to sell it on my own... it is just a PITA.

Hows that marriage counseling going at the Ford dealer?

I haven't bought new in years. I usually buy certified pre-owned.

I need to pay a vehicle off and just keep it. I keep thinking of how much more money I'd have if I did.

You're taking the Bronco Sport to the official TRS Fall Round Up at the Badlands Offroad Park in Attica Indiana this fall right??

If it works out we won't have ours for about a year. She does want to take it to roundups.

Neither of us has even owned anything with a warranty before let alone certified anything.

Waiting for her to get off work so we can run to the dealer right now.

I'm like Gump. I really hate going to dealers. Seems like it's always a 3hr minimum stay. Talk, test drive, talk, start nailing down a deal, salesman has to " check with the sales manager" multiple times, get hungry, get frustrated, think about just walking out multiple times, finally agree on the deal, start filling out paperwork, wait for credit check, etc. Even if you walk in and say "I want that vehicle right there and I'll pay sticker price, cash." It still wastes half a day or more.

Grrrrrrr!

We just got home from the dealer... we ordered my wife a Cactus Gray Bronco Sport Badlands w/ the Badlands package.

I tell them what I'm willing to pay, give them one chance to meet it, and then tell them to call me if the decide they want to sell it as I'm walking out.

I refuse to do the back and forth with a manager more than once. It's a game.

Argue the price, not the payment. They'll extend the payments out for a longer term and you'll pay more in the long run. I've got a dealer to settle at a price as well as payment and keep it in the term I wanted.

Does Ford have 0% financing right now?

Looks like the wives are getting Bronco Sports. I'm glad I don't have one. LOL.

I'm pretty sure Mrs. 85_Ranger was all in on a Bronco Bronco Black Diamond.
