It's been a damn good 6months with this truck, but this Mazda will have a new home in a few weeks.

Stepping up to take it's place is a Mustang GT.

I love the damn thing, but it's not pratical right now.

How is the Mustang GT more practical?

Sinner.

That mustang won't jump curbs like the truck did... You'll be sitting on the ground driving that stang and a ranger will pull up beside you and you'll be saying, "damn, I wish I had my truck back..."

Please elaborate. Truck has more cargo room and same amount of seating, and is easier on gas and insurance.

18city and 25highway VS 7city and 10highway

260hp VS 120(something low)hp

Ability to drive to Jax and back without spending 80bucks. FTW.
Ability to drive around without going broke FTW.
Etc, etc.

I don't need to off road any more, after almost having my crossmember and bumper come off I realize I can't afford that shiz.

My 01 GT gets 27 mpg on the highway with AC on 70 to 80 mph more sometimes. City if I'm careful over 20mpg. A lot less if I'm not.

Fair enough, do whatever suits you best. Be sure to post up some pics of the Rustang.

Yeah. I hate hitting every light and burning up tons of gas!

I will be sure to post up pictures of the MUStang. :woot:

Hmmm...with a truck I'm less likely to get speeding tickets...cause mine could barely do the speed limit to begin with...

But I have to ask...did you hear about that accident between the Mustang and a Falcon?

There was horse poop and bird feathers all over the road....:)

Shame that you've got to sell the truck. Cars just aren't the same after driving a truck around for a long time.

Should have gotten a 4x2 4 cylinder Ranger. Yeah it only has 143hp but its a quick little engine. (19 city 24 highway) I have been driving mine for over 2 weeks now and do not miss the extra horsepower my Grand am GT had. I can cut in front of others with the best of them.:icon_hornsup:

Seriously though a Mustang is cool to. I had five of them in my lifetime. Bad in the snow like the 4x2 ranger and I was always getting burned on insurance.

gonna miss it, you still gonna stick around TRS?

you better stick around, and i dont get how a v8 mustand would be more practical, than a v6 truck, more cargo room, enough horse power and more fun if you know where to go

and the gas cand be that much better, especally with a teenaged girl, lead foot
i know we all do it,but its fun, plus trucks are cooler
