What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

Love the anvil, in case Wile E. Coyote shows up......

That's not an anvil, that's an A.S.O.

Anvil Shaped Object.

Real anvils are forged tool steel. ASO's are cast iron things that look like anvils, generally used by people with eye patches from the chunks of metal flying off of them.

got it out on the road for the first time in a month, picked up a 2-peice china hutch, had to make 2 trips because the cap is on but it wasnt too far away (maybe 5-7 miles) . was nice to have it out, after getting everything home we were headed out to eat and got in the escape. Right as I went to start it my left foot went for a clutch pedal to press that isnt in that vehicle. Its been years since Ive done that.

Paid taxes/registration renewal for it.

Fueled it up for the first time in a month and a half and drove it into the city for a wee bit of groceries but forgot to stop and grab beer on the way back. :(

Scrapped one of them.

I always buy the beer first. Then if I have any money left I buy groceries.

At my favorite grocery store, the beer aisle is right after the ice cream and frozen pizza aisle. All the necessities right there at that end of the store. Impossible to forget.

They also have a beer den where you can get a pint to drink while you're shopping or grab a growler to take home.

Sounds like Nirvana to me. Another reason to move out of Maryland...

Started coating the new bumper I got for Red ranger with cold galvanizing compound. Did three coats on the mounting brackets and the back of the bumper.

Tomorrow I’ll flip it over and do the other side. Maybe get some actual paint on it.
