Finally, my official project truck

Sounds good, I set my 347 in today.

There's no rust out here. No trucks either, except for new plastic ones, and they're $40k+.

@Junglejoe what did you end doing with driveshaft? my stocker is too long.

Ya thats the problem I have. 99 reg cab 4cyl 5spd, but lowered

I'm only assuming it will need to be cut once I lower it.. most say cut it one inch..but that also depends on where you set the engine. Not all are in the same place give or take 1 inch

Have been looking for a local shop to cut, no luck yet but I've also been busy at work so haven't made a significant effort yet.

So.. my laptop has crashed! ALL my notes that I had saved are gone..

My ranger is a 99 3.0 flex fuel auto. My donor motor and harness is a 2000 expo.
This is a wiring question.. is this actually a plug and play on the connector that sits on top of the intake? I thought I remember that pin 42 and to be cut then gound to the firewall.. the other side went to the alternator? Sorry for the question.. I have to start all over reading and saving notes..
what did you figure out here? 98 expo donor motor and harness, 99 ranger reg cab 2.5 5spd

@Junglejoe dont mean to keep bothering, but where did u get that pro-m mass from?

Man, you ain't bothering me at all. If I can help someone thats a good thing. God knows I needed help when I first started this swap..lol

I got it from my brother who ordered it from Pro M. He decided to build a blown engine for his 92 fox feature car.. and needed bigger injecters.

so ordered for a mustang? did you have to change the plug?

Edit: I put a call into pro-m, they got me squared away, very helpful and nice. Should be here in a few days they are close to me

its me again, could you elaborate on your clutch setup? including the mods you made for clutch safety switch, and transmission/ o2 sensor harness as well as your external set-up, from reading i saw you had travel issues. been trying to figure this one out for weeks and im stumped

Ok.. clutch stuff. I used what others have used, not my idea.
It's very easy once you do it..
My truck is a 2000. Was an automatic v6.
So I went to the yard and got the clutch/brake peddle assembly.

WORDS OF ADVICE HERE::: MAKE SURE BEFORE YOU PULL IT ITS NOT BROKE OR CRACKED OR YOU'LL BE PULLING A SEXOMD ONE, OR MAYBE EVEN A THIRD ONE!!!
I DID THAT AND SHOULD HAVE JUST BOUGHT ONE OFF EBAY!!

Now once you have that in place or if you already do...
I used a 1999 F550 clutch master, stock ranger clutch peddle rod, 1978 or so 280z slave cylinder 22 inch kevlar hydraulic line(you don't need kevlar, but I figured extra insurance for about the same price)
Piece of angle iron, use at least a 1/4 inch, the thinner metal flexes to bad or you will have to weld gussets on it.
Some clutch line fittings
A 1/2 inch threaded rod
A 6 inch 3/8 inch threaded rod
6 --3/8 inch bolts, lock washers
And an accord nut

Before I go any further, I do NOT like where the clutch engagement is using this setup!!
It is very close to the floor!!

When using the f550 master, it is bigger than the ranger master. It will not just fit in place. You have to grind and file down the bracket where the clutch master goes
( TAKE YOUR TIME AND NOT GO TO BIG)

Here are a couple.pics..Ill finish in detail what I done tomorrow. Out of state working and fixing to head to work . Heading home tonight when I get off work..STAY TUNED
