First photos of Maverick

So if heavier, stiffer vehicles arnt safer then i guess im more safe in my wifes escape then the peterbilt i drive everyday right?

Extreme example but its the only way to prove a point
All other things being equal, weight gives you an advantage.

All other things are not equal.

I imagine a head on would look something like this...

I know which one id rather be in

Please explain how a stiffer vehicle and its occupants wont fare better in an accident against a softer vehicle and its passengers.

Against a tree or something i can see...vehicle on vehicle...no.

Enjoy...

Ford Falcon Ute had a straight six.

If the Mavericks don’t have a straight six option I’m not interested.

I'd still be down with the right 4 banger (weight depending).

But I agree, the Falcon XR6 was one bad mother****er. Idk why they never brought the Barra here...

Enjoy...
Ive actually read most of those already in the past. Most center around the lack of electronic nannies and tests under controlled conditions.

Here in the real world size matters as does stiffness. So you keep your tin can and hopefully when you get creamed by something riding on a real frame youre alive to tell about it.

Ive been in 3 what i consider serious wrecks, 2 in late 70s F150s and 1 in a 96 F150 and i walked away without a scratch from all of them.

I also remember being rear ended by an interepid in my 77 LTD...that ended badly...for the intrepid.

As a matter of fact the only person i know to be seriously injured in an accident was driving an late 90s/early 00s impala.

Yeah, if it's a 4dr then I don't care about it.

Is 'all other things being equal' still not sinking in?
