Fitment question and opinion on tires?

I never liked the quality of the tire Goodyear makes for the money you pay. The only Goodyear tires I’ve owned came with the vehicle when I bought them. Most were ok but I could have gotten the same performance out of a cheaper brand for less.

Did you guys know that over 7% of all tires produced in the United States are round?
Round is my favorite shape for tires, I find the other shapes just don’t work as well above 60mph. That’s actually why I stopped buying Goodyear many years ago, as they seemed to have a problem making the round ones. After spending too much money sampling their other shapes I moved on....

Wait. You mean someone makes an unround tire that might match my unround wheel? Why did I pay to get the wheel fixed if all I needed was a different tire?

Tires are often round-ish. Some manufactures are better at getting close to round than others. So, Dirtman is more than likely, not wrong on his percentage of actual round tires.

I didn't know you could get that fixed.

I picked up a wheel that matches my others at the JY not knowing it had that done to it. By the I found out about it the BII with the other three was gone.

Yes. I actually found 2 places nearby. They use a hydraulic press kind of thingy. Cost me $100. That wheel goes on my Fun50.

There is a narrow road that I frequent between my house and mom's house. People speed in the center of that road and don't get over far enough when a car is coming the other way. Hence, I got run off the road and hit a bad part of broken pavement. I need to stop going that way or use the Ranger to go to mom's place. But it saves 5 minutes. Its just hard to reprogram my brain to NOT go the shortest route.

You know what REALLY sucks?? When you go to get your favorite budget A/T at pep boys, and they're unavailable for the foreseeable future due to Rona.

Along with every tire under $100/ea.

Square tires and rims work well too.....

I got it closer but being aluminum I was afraid of it breaking like in your gif.

$100 isn't bad for a fancy rim, for a spare it makes a black rim look pretty good though.
