Fitment question and opinion on tires?

Pfft.
I can do that with a 16oz claw. Not impressed.
Not by my experience. Wheels are much easier to dent than to repair. I think when I straightened my steel wheels, heat and a sledge hammer barely did the job.

Steel is much easier to bend back into shape than aluminum but aluminum can be repaired. I’m surprised the repair was only 100 bucks.

I've done a steel wheel with a 3lb one hand sledge hammer , with the tire still mounted . Gave it a few whacks until it look reasonably close , then pumped it up .

It depends on your age/ chronological awareness as to Snow Tire configuration . In my impressionable youth all snow tires ( including regular passenger cars ) looked just like what are today called mud tires .

These new wave " winter tires " ( notice the new terminology , since they aren't actually snow tires) look just like regular y summer ama All Season tires without a magnifing glass .
