Alright thanks that aligns up with other details I told my friend so if he goes to buy the truck I'll make sure we buy some head gaskets and see if that fixes it.I've no idea what the symptoms are, but I found this (well, it told me what they are, actually): https://www.felpro.com/gaskets-101/signs-of-a-blown-head-gasket.html
Yeah, the truck has rarely sat for more than a couple of days since it's rebuild, but it wasn't a big surprise based on past experience.Dang @G8orFord … the critters down there move in fast... they moved in on a daily driver.
I'm looking forward to your opinions on that Mod you have going...
Yeah, I have to tread lightly with the 2019 right now since it is still under warranty. If I can't figure out a way not to make a mess by the time the warranty is up, I'll probably look at relocating the filter. I also want to look into an oil cooler because of the turbo as well. Something with a thermostat would be preferable.
For something as menial as a filter relocation kit, I'd just do it. The magnuson moss act has you covered. The ONLY reason warranty coverage would be denied with your relocation kit is if the dealer can PROVE it was said filter relocation that caused the failure.

Got a good start. Maybe I'll finish tomorrow. It's not as "plug and play" as I'd hoped, but not too bad.
