anybody still build bronco 2s?

@85_Ranger4x4

Good on.

Mind if I ask a huge favor and ask for a diameter measurement of your front and rear sway bars? They're missing from our tech section.

Also dibs on any suspension components you take off, especially said sway bars haha.
absolutely, when i get over there to work on it(currently not registered and my apartment complex will have it towed without a tag. ill get the measurements as im taking them off anyways.
but i want to say they are the same as the ones on the regular cab swb 4x4 rangers of that era.

Life got in the way, parents passing and got married twice had kids etc. I’ve never felt with the 2.8l and it’s smog pump garbage. Also the ac system is really weird. I’ll have to get pictures of it. It runs/drives great no rattles or anything. I’m gonna have to rebuild the carb and bleed the brake system. Other than that it’s in horrible shape other than the firewall being rotted at the brake booster. Here’s what I’m working with.

Here is the ac line coming out of the hp port on the evap core going to a filter? Or something and into the fenderwell. I have some fiberglass fenders to put on it later so I will trace it to wherever it goes.

That's an aftermarket accumulator / drier stuck by the fan (sight glass, push-on hoses).

The air box looks stock (missing upper low pressure hose in the earlier pic?), but if so you have aftermarket parts mixed in. Looks like maybe the original drier and orifice tube was replaced with the aftermarket drier and an expansion valve in place of the orifice.

Or, it could be all aftermarket (the box is throwing me), but more pics would be needed.

Box doesn’t look factory from what little I can see.

Working on restoring my Papaw's he bought new in 85. I agree that is not factory AC.

Love driving the B2 around with the short wheel base. Will go anywhere!

Currently my bii’s roommates lol it’s at my best friends house.

It is stock, the low pressure hose was cut off flush

Yeah, I can kinda see it now on my computer. It has had some work done on it.

Working, a word of perspective.

Still building Bronco IIs. I have a few in various stages. I daily drive my 89. I have an 85 in the middle of a full body off rebuild as well as another 85 that mostly occupies a spot in the driveway. A couple more B2s behind the barn for parts. If you need info or suggestions hit us up. I’m a wealth of useless knowledge and opinion. Keep us posted on your progress.
