What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

I heard that the RainEx premixed stuff doesn’t like going with cheap washer juice. I switched to Prestone stuff, same effect as the other.

Ranger is in my front yard with the “little” trailer attached and mostly loaded with scrap, so there’s a scrap run scheduled for tomorrow. Sometime this year I want to swap axles in it and do the 5.0 swap

Not the trailer, the Ranger will get axles and a 5.0. I’m happy with the trailer the way it is, it take Ranger wheels already, lol. My green Ranger on the other hand, well, I think the drivetrain is getting tired and I have a donor on hand.... although I want to make it a 331 stroker before it goes in just because, lol

My original tail lights were spider webbing and had a couple cracks in them so before the pressure washer started to blow chunks out of them I changed them out with a set of LED's.

Before pic taken this morning because of snow darn near the middle of may, poor quality because it was through a window and a screen:

After shots, I apologize but in the afternoon the sun is just in a bad spot for taking pics of the truck.

For some reason the holes for the bulb sockets were backwards in the new lights so I had to swap connectors. After the first hook up when I put it reverse the parking lights came on and with the head lights on the reverse lights were on so the install was not a plug a play scenario like it should have been but an easy fix. They are Altezza style with black backing and smoke lenses. the directional blinks a lot slower so I need to look into if there is a flasher that will blink (heat up) quicker to get a quicker flash.

Once warm weather is here to stay I'll get a few good pics of it this year after all the upgrades. Kids mom does photography so I'll do some weird around the house repair stuff in trade for her taking some professional shots of it. I do have a set of paintless dent repair tools coming in at some point so all I need now is a shadow light to try and massage out a few of the dents. The tailgate one is gonna be hard because there is a stabilizer bar across the inner part of the gate just below the access panel which will make that one such a pain to get at. There is a new bullseye in it I just noticed today that shouldn't be hard to get out due to it being a lot higher on the gate.

Ranger put in a little work today, finished loading scrap and hauled it in... just over 1,600 lbs of scrap. Should have got a picture. Crawled it up out of my yard just fine.
