What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

I managed to get my T-Rex grill installed.... and I also got my front skid plate primed.

I also cut the grass... worked the gardens and spent some time organizing the garage. Now it's raining and suppose to rain all day tomorrow.

I've been making the Torsen mad lately. I've been getting on it in corners and hopping the rear tires.

Got the skyjacker 4” pretty much complete. Now it’s time to take it over to the alignment shop. Good timing too, almost ran out of beers!

I drove it on a 64 mile round trip to pick up my new 3+1 rear springs to replace the (original,I think) 2+1 sagging springs.

Ya know... seems I've only seen a couple pictures of your truck.

From what I remember... it was a track truck you put back on the street. And... it's bad ass.

You ever think of putting a thread together and show it off a bit?

I for one would like to see more of it...

Bought mine a GPS.

Magellan tr7 on/off road unit. Comes pre loaded with 160,000 off road trails, user updated/uploaded trails, topo/3d/available satellite Maps.

270 shipped, can't wait for it to show up.

That stings a little...

but probably money well spent.
Yup I really didn't want to spend the money but that pro 5.0 one I have just feels sloppy. And I dont like my new shifter lever I made. So I figured why not this time.

I posted a short story and some pictures on the V8 engine swap page

I must have missed that one Walt... I'm gonna check it out.

Took the 2011 camping. Brought the kayak along but the water was too high. The mpg for the trip was better than I expected, especially with a boat on the rack. A roughly 200 mile round trip on 70 mph interstates, 19 mpg. 17 if you don’t do the conversion for the taller tires. I used to get 20-21 before all the modifications and still had the OEM street tires.

Drove 2 hours to the high desert to see an old friend. Very peaceful, and did some off roading out there also. Great time...

Put power steering in the blackwidow ranger. Took some fab work and some creative steering lines. But so much nicer now.
