Shootings over shoes being stepped on in Detroit and Chicago as proof of being disrespected therefore justified......was and is an issue my whole life.

When your at one of the festivals in Hart plaza, dying that way is a real risk.

I was born and raised around the Flint area in Genesee county where the person was shot over telling the lady she needed a mask to be in the store. That area has been on a slow fall to what it has become since the 60's. It got really bad when industry started pulling out in the 80's. Flint is a total shit hole these days... I don't think the people carrying rifles in the Michigan State Capital building, or the guys that got arrested standing guard outside a Texas bar are doing anything to help the 2nd amendment.

They're using weapons to influence government, and they don't represent the whole of society. People like that threaten to bring about gun law change that affect the rest of us that bear arms.

God gave me the right to do what I want, so I'm going to openly carry a weapon to intimidate the police so they won't stop me. Sounds dramatic, but it's the same idea that we've seen expressed.

People have a right to speak and demonstrate as long as they do it in a civil manner. I'm not seeing anyone around the country being told they can't. The idea that gunmen have to be there to make sure it happens is bullshit.

I have a permit to carry a concealed weapon for my own protection. I don't openly carry it to intimidate others. Exercising my freedom should not make other people feel like they're freedoms are being threatened.

I'd like to say that people crack me up, but we live in a sad society that is increasingly only concerned about themselves. To make things worse, the current and previous President have failed to unify people, and instead use the divisions for they're own agendas.

And for those that want to proclaim their God given rights;

The more I think about that bible verse and think back about history, if there was a line in the bible that was totally bogus that is it. God must need to improve goverment screening process because there have been a lot of really bad governments that needed the ctrl, alt, delete and restart option just in fairly recent history.

And yeah, open carrying at a demonstration kinda makes you look like a loon.

The hairstylist in Texas that refused to follow the Governors orders was issued a restraining order. She ripped it up and refused to comply. She was later arrested after she continued running her salon, and ignoring several requests and orders to stop.

She got herself in a position where she can go to jail for violating the restraining order. The judge offered to let her go with just a fine if she agreed to not open her salon until Friday when the state is allowing salons to open. She refused to stay closed for a few more days, so the judge sent her to jail for 7-days.

The state attorney general wants her released.

She's just trying to feed her family.

Someone created a GoFundMe account for her. Money steadily pours in. It's over $400,000.

People are fawkin crazy.

What's the point in creating rules during a crisis if they don't have to be followed? If they let her out, every business in Texas should say fawk you and open back up.

This woman will become the next Sara Conners leading the revolution. Striking out against the government machine. Maybe a future presidential candidate? Joe Biden should go bail her out.

I don't feel sorry for the woman. She should of had customers come to her house and set up shop in her garage if that's what she needed to do. Is that illegal, yes. But at least then you're flying under the radar.

You don't draw attention to yourself and not expect to get busted. Everyone that reads the news knew this was coming. This lady actually told reporters she was waiting to be arrested as she continued to remain open.

The woman forced the legal system to act. Everyone's watching and she's using reporters to call their bluff. If you do nothing, others will follow. The legal system exhausted all options before arresting her.

Is going to jail excessive? In most cases, yes. In this case, no. The lady kept drawing attention to what she was doing and the media was following it. This woman had every intention of get arrested and going to jail. The judge even offered to not send her to jail if she offered to stay closed for a few more days. Again, this woman was determined to roll with the publicity and chose jail.

Now people are voicing out against the court, even though this woman was intent on landing in jail amid the publicity.

Personally I think they should have simply revoked her license, and been done with her. She forced them to make an example out of her. Her plan to defy the government and get arrested has made her a hero. But then, this is also the area that Bonnie and Clyde are from.

The womans GoFundMe is now above $450,000. People are paying her for intentionally getting herself thrown in jail.
