ok.... so the petroleum market has tanked and gas prices have dropped. But why is diesel / kerosene still as high as it was? they are petroleum products too. - and as a side note, its hilarious that E85 is more than 87 octane gas, no reason at all to run it now, I did try E85 in the escape when I first got it, fuel milage was less so not worth it to me even if it was cheaper, now its not.

Some of these posts are funny but this situation isn't. This could drive some American oil companies out of business because they can't absorb losses like the filthy rich Saudi's or the Russian government. I don't mind oil companies making money, we need them for national security reasons. I worked at a gas station during the 73 oil embargo when OPEC had us over a barrel(no pun intended). Now we're dependent on China for way too many things- including medical supplies and the medicines themselves.
