Look close...the wheels have 6 studs/lug nuts...usually means a heavy duty axle, so who knows what's under there ?

Same axle that is under the 2019 Ranger I would guess...

I'd bet money it wont have manual hubs. Ford did the same thing when before they released the new ranger. A lot of hype about this awesome return of the ranger and it has nothing it should have. My point was when comparing the Trollers to the new rangers and explorers, the troller has the better offroad options. Ford hasn't made anything really worth while IMO. They went with the mall crawler crowd for America. I honestly don't think I can own a vehicle newer than 2006. I don't need junk TPMS sensors that fail/break constantly. I'm a real man, I check my own tire pressures with a gauge and an air compressor and can eyeball a tire if it is low.

Traction control, abs, skid control, backup cameras, blind spot detection...the list goes on and on for uneeded electronic nannies.

A lot of Mid Size and Half Ton trucks have 6 lugs now. I’m not exactly sure why when 5 worked just fine for the longest time. One less axle to stock between models?

That's part of my point... Too much mall crawler crap. Will it even have leaf springs? Probably not.... It will just be another let down by ford. And to whats his face who said that all new vehicles cost 40-50k and up is wrong... Price may be right for a new ford or chevy…. But you can buy new 2020 Toyotas or Jeeps for under 35k, look it up.... Ford's ego is getting to them.

I just have to laugh...

It needs a windshield and a roof cheap skate.

Who cares about manual hubs? The current Ranger is live like the 2000ish-11 Rangers were. No hubs at all to go bad which which should appeal to the minimalist that you are. It certainly appeals to me.

I have known my wife for 6 years and have replaced 0 TPMS sensors in her 240k mile Edge.

Coils > leaf springs. That is why both Toyota and Jeep have them all the way around.

Get your head out of the sand, the CHEAPEST 4Runner at the local dealer is $36k SR5. Most in stock are crowding $50k. Wrangler is similar and I bet when the dust settles the Bronco will be in the same bracket too.

The more i hear the more i think ill buy one of these...

Fiat killed them. They were kind of pointless anyway, you could get a real street legal Jeep with infinite aftermarket support (like a YJ or TJ) for the same $$
