More Bronco hear say.


I'm already over the new bronco and it's not even out yet. It's not gonna be what it should be.... Probably wont have manual hubs, probably won't have a true manual transmission, probably wont be able to customize it like you could a jeep, probably be another mall crawler.... Oh and it costs WAY too much...

I would rather have the south American Troller T4 than anything Ford has made in the last few years. Troller specs include:
Dana axles
5 speed manual trans by Eaton
3.0 turbo diesel
oh and it's on a ranger based frame

It looks more capable than the new ranger, that's my opinion at least, heres a nice video of it being a beast
But, it will be great for a Wal Mart run to get beer and chips. Lots of room in the back for groceries.

I'm OK with low gloss... maybe like a satin.

Gloss for sure, I will pass on the flat flat gray.

For some reason people like to call colors like Leadfoot (and Toyota's Cement) flat gray... which I think is because they are nonmetallic. Or maybe because they kinda look like primer gray.

Lead foot = no metallic
Abyss grey = tiny bit of metallic with a slight blue/green tint

They had them side by side when I ordered mine. Unless they told me the wrong color...

Could be, I have never shopped for one and that color is not that common around me.

Probably wont have manual hubs, neither did the ‘70s highboys with the np203 transfer case... so what? probably won't have a true manual transmission, it’s been pretty well established that there will be a manual transmission available probably wont be able to customize it like you could a jeep, Ford has been working with other companies to make aftermarket parts available off the showroom floor... obviously there won’t be as many parts available for it as a Jeep. probably be another mall crawler like most of the brand new Jeeps out there?... Oh and it costs WAY too much... get used to it... that’s what new vehicles cost.

I would be ok with a flat or semigloss color. There are times I which my hood on the 2011 had it. The sun hits it just right sometimes and blinds the crap out of me.

Um...

Correction..."high boys" never existed, it was simply a name hung on pre 77.5 F250s with a divorced transfer case and higher arched front springs then the 77.5-79 F250s.

Also, they didnt have lockouts no, but they had full time hubs, which are stouter then the auto hubs used today, which is what he was reffering to.
 
So im guessing the 7 speed will probably be a 6 sp with a creeper?
Yeah, like when overdrive first came out, it was a 4 speed with overdrive LOL...no its a damn 5 speed. Overdrive is a gear, just like granny low (creeper as they seem to think its called now).

Dad's '80 K-20 has L, 1, 2 and 3 on the knob... it is nothing really that new.

That is a bunch of assumptions for a vehicle that hasn't been seen...

I'm sure Ford has a lot more to come on this vehicle too... they haven't shown their full hand on this one just yet.

Sure he did... the 390 option box was right between the 351C and the 429 option boxes.
