Bronco Premiere!

From the pictures, you can tell it's definitely IFS.

Picture taken from Jalopnik

From the article: It states that it will run in Class 2, which is, “Unlimited open-wheel, car/truck, 3.6-Liter Turbo.” What's interesting though is a reader over there caught part of the engie in one of the pictures and points out the oil filter cartridge on the 2.7 ecoboost

He circles the corresponding parts in the pics with a red. (I would never have caught this!)

Maybe I skimmed over it, but did they mention engine and trans combo?

See above.

Undeserved? Well deserved. I have had several. They are not for just anybody. The jacking ... that is inherent with ttb....especially with the d28 width and b2 wheelbase makes for a wobbly goblin in many scenarios.

Awesome on trails though.

Like the old Jeeps everybody touts as the current Jeeps "heritage" Lots of rollovers there too, that is why the army dumped them.

Ford claims they will release 2 Broncos a bronco 2 size and a full size they also announced a Bronco truck. To compete with the gladiator. The full size is suppose to be a full frame vehicle with the v6 eco boost and possibly a 5.0 with a 10 speed auto, Ford is also developing a 7 speed manual transmission called the MT88. They have applied for patents on storage of doors etc in the rear of the vehicle. This information that ive typed above seems to be the most consistent from the spy pages and groups.

If you can't get it done with a 6 speed, then a 7 speed ain't gonna cure it. I wonder when the 10 speed manual gonna come out in Ford consumer vehicles?

I'd buy it.

I could act like.my commute was a scene from fast &f urious

Apparently there's a UAW agreement with Ford and the rumor is that the new Bronco will be an all aluminum body.

It's already been confirmed by Ford that the Bronco will get a new version of the Ranger chassis. The Ranger will get that same updated chassis later when it gets its update.

The current Ranger chassis isn't designed for a v6. It was designed for the world market where it has only 4 cylinder options (both gas and diesel). The new redesign is to fit a v6.
What it’s designed for and what happens after an inspired gear head get hands on it are two different things. Somebody somewhere will stuff a big block in one of these before you know it.......:D

Yes, but were talking about a factory vehicle. The been counters, the engineers, and the focus groups reign supreme. It needs to be designed to be assembled in 30 seconds or less for the assembly line.

Never.

If you can cram a 6.2 hellcat motor in a gladiator then there is no reason a 5.0 coyote wont fit.
